About Christie Road

Stuff like this never seems to be updated by the original writer, and it bugs me. So I'm going to. I'm still leaving the original about page under, so this'll just be like a remastered album with the original liner notes, right? Nevermind. So now there's four of us here; Maria, Tommy, Leonard, and this Octavius guy who wrote one lengthy post about a 20-something minute song, and disappeared. The posts are starting to become less frequent. That's likely a result of the insane amount of homework we get from this place called "school." No recess. Okay.

This is a blog, obviously. Sarcasm aside, this blog is devoted mainly to music interspersed with anecdotes from our lives and our opinions on music and such.  There are three (3) of us who blog on here - myself (Maria), Tommy, and Leonard. Hopefully, we don't offend anyone, but if we do, that wasn't the point. All of us on this blog are musically inclined and we play at least one instrument (actually, all of us play 2 or more...) so no, we aren't ignorant people just trolling on the web. Mostly, we listen to variations of rock - whether it be punk, indie, metal, or alternative. The name of this blog derives from the Green Day song on Kerplunk "Christie Road", which in fact, is an actual road, and is in relatively close proximity to where all of us on this blog are located. The name was chosen mostly for it's meaning in context of the Green Day song - you know, a place to recouperate, slip a way from reality, and remember who we really are. It's home.
